Ho-Chunk Community Development Corporation (HCCDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation working to raise the socio-economic and educational levels for Native American communities and the people of Thurston County in Nebraska. People need to make their own decisions regarding their dreams for the future and the future of their communities. We at HCCDC want to be there, and invite you to join us in helping them achieve those dreams. HCCDC and particularly the community of Winnebago are bright with plans for the future. Our philosophy is to attract public and private funding, investment capital, and interest in our projects that will enhance our ability to achieve results. A community leader recently put it very succinctly, "We aren't just going to say 'Give us money, we are poor Indians.' We are saying 'Give us money and be part of something special.'"
