STRATEGIES
Housing Capital
Expand housing choice and opportunity through new construction and renovation
Education and housing services including property management.
TACTICS
Create, fund, and maintain housing capital funds – down payment assistance, mortgage
loan fund
Construct new housing units – single family, multi-family, rental, ownership, etc.
Renovate existing units
Property management of all HCCDC rental and lease-to-own units
Work with identified agencies
Assist clients with housing needs
OBJECTIVES
Programs shall identify and plan for projects at least one year in advance so that adequate funding can be identified and applied for so that projects will be fully funded prior to implementation.
HCCDC programs and projects shall be fully funded prior to beginning of work. At no time will HCCDC or any department, program, or project thereof begin project work without 100% of required funding needs being in-hand.
HCCDC programs shall work to remain on schedule and within budget with all activities and work plans in order to achieve their projected outcomes
Conduct Housing programs in compliance with Housing Program Guidelines.
